These terms govern your use of the KitchenIQ mobile app (the "App") provided by ZERO SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK İTHALAT VE İHRACAT LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("we"). By using the App, you accept these terms. How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
KitchenIQ helps you track your pantry, use up items that are close to their expiry date, and prepare weekly or daily menus and shopping lists. Some features are powered by AI. The App is currently free. We may improve, change or remove features.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your password confidential. Your account is personal.
- You can delete your account from within the App at any time (Profile › Delete Account).
3. Nutrition, allergy and health warning
Please read carefully.
- Calorie, protein and other nutrition values in the App are estimates, not measurements.
- Allergen and diet filters rely on recipe and ingredient data and are not error-free. If your allergen does not appear in a recipe, that is no guarantee that the recipe does not contain it. Always check the labels of the products you use yourself. If you have a serious allergy, do not rely on the App's suggestions alone.
- Expiry reminders are only reminders. You must judge whether a product is still fit to eat by checking its smell, its appearance and how it has been stored.
- The App does not give medical advice and does not replace a doctor or a dietitian. For nutrition suited to your own health condition, consult a health professional.
4. AI content
AI-generated suggestions, explanations, recipe adaptations and items read from receipts may be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you use them. Some recipe images are AI-generated and may look different from the actual dish.
5. Your content
- The recipes, photos and comments you add belong to you. When you choose to share content, you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to show it to other users within the App. This permission lasts until your account or the content is deleted.
- You may not share content that infringes the rights of others, or that is illegal, misleading, obscene or hateful. We may remove such content without prior notice.
6. Unacceptable use
You may not use the App for illegal purposes. You may not try to get around the security of the App or our servers, reverse-engineer the App to get its source code, send excessive requests with automated tools, or access other users' data.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, software, recipe database and images belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. They do not transfer any other rights to you.
8. Liability
We develop the App with care, but we cannot guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors. The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the App. This does not affect cases of intent or gross negligence, or the mandatory legal rights you have as a consumer.
9. Account suspension
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, we may suspend or close your account.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will announce important changes in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new terms.
11. Apple
If you download the App from the App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Turkish law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the place where you live still apply to you, and you keep your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts.
